Pride in Southwark kicks off at the London LGBTQ+ Centre, SE1 9JH.
March with us to Mint Street Park, protesting to defend and promote LGBTQ+ rights.
Everyone marching will be asked to sign a declaration calling for the Government & Council to ensure LGBTQ+ rights are protected, especially in light of the recent Supreme Court judgement.

Pride in Southwark is a community led organisation, committed to delivering inclusive LGBTQIA+ events throughout the year, with an annual Pride event.

OUR FUNDING
Pride in Southwark is a not for profit group, we apply for community grants and funding from other community groups and organisations as well as direct public donations to deliver our objectives.
All of our team are unpaid volunteers, however, we're committed to ensuring talent is appropriately paid for providing entertainment on stage during Pride in Southwark. This is entirely funded through community grants and donations, we have no commercial funding partners or sponsorships.

Is this a family friendly event?Absolutely! We're hosting Pride in Southwark in Mint Street Park to ensure we're open and accessible to the whole community. Everyone is welcome both on the march from the LGBTQ+ Centre from 12pm and Mint Street Park for music, dancing, drag and much more from 1pm-6pm.

How can I volunteer to steward the march or help on the day?We need stewards, set-up helpers and litter pickers to ensure the day runs smoothly and we leave the park litter free. No experience necessary. If you're up for helping, we'd be extremely grateful if you could fill out the form here:

I'd like to help organise the event, is there a way I can get involved?Absolutely , our working groups meets throughout the year to bring Pride in Southwark to our community. If you'd like to be involved, please follow the below link:

Can my business sponsor the event or make a donation?We don't accept corporate sponsorships as a grassroots organisation, however we will be asking for donations on the day for those that can afford to give, whatever amount, to help us meet the costs of putting events on.

Can my company's LGBTQ+ staff / work group get involved?Absolutely! We encourage work groups, particularly LGBTQ+ societies or organisers to bring a group along for the march and to the park to celebrate Pride in Southwark. Please reach out if you'd like any materials to distribute. Below you'll find a flyer for the event.
